Friday 26 February 2016

Dear all, I hope you are doing well.
Today's subject is an interview Mrs. Sarah Armstrong Garner, author of the sinking trilogy.
The launch of the first book being today, I invite you to get acquainted with the woman behind the story.

 So let's get started:

Sinking, a story told by the ocean

Sunday 21 February 2016

Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

Today, I would like to review the story of "Sinking" of which I had the pleasure to read and later interview the author.

We've heard so many stories above the ocean, the tales of pirates sailing the seas, in search of a lost treasures laced with curses, chanting, dancing with the ladies and living the life of a rebel.
But this goes beneath the surface of the ocean, deep down underwater, swimming between the beautiful multicolored plants and species.

"Sinking" has been a delight to read and a great distraction after having quite some busy days at work.
The title triggered my attention as it can have multiple meanings.

Writing routine

Friday 19 February 2016

Hey everyone,

I hope you're doing well.

Today I'm sharing with you my writing routine concerning my novel.
Usually I have a set of drafts written on notes that I put near me,  a cup of tea, biscuits (or even my meal when I'm alone),  my computer, music on and I'm sitting in a yoga position on a sofa in the living on my bedroom.

Noise doesn't really bother me so much, it depends on my mood.

Let's get into details of the writing time!

Be yourself

Friday 12 February 2016

Be yourself, this is something I keep repeating myself. It is your primary strength and the main key to your happiness.

Based on the recent events I experienced, I thought it was important to share this with you all.

During my break, I came across several revelations that have allowed me to have a brighter vision about life, and about me.

We are all born with the same heart, and each of us has its own journey. Yet our environment can sometimes be quite disappointing and we can be judged without reason.
People, or rather society, has over the years developed all types of labels, judgements, making people change themselves just in order to fit in some of sort of "cool" community.

I have struggled with this comparison for several years, feeling like a complete alien, and most of the time, blamed myself for being different. Even when I tried to fit in, there was always something wrong, I felt like an outcast.

Nail art

Sunday 7 February 2016

Surprise everyone! Posting more than once a week! It can happen on some very inspired occasions :).

I hope you are doing well.

Wit the recent events, I was unable to share you my 2016 resolutions.
To be fair, I used to put pressure on myself to achieve a certain level, but it has led me to learn the most important to look forward to. So here are my resolutions:

1. Be happy: not as an achievement or a goal, but making it a daily habit. Happiness is a choice and not a mission, an important lesson I've learned in 2015. So far, I've been able to adjust well.

2. Be less influenced by negative energy: vampire energies, negative talks and atmosphere are out of my  luggage, and what a relief.

3.Be grateful for every day, make the most out of it, and not take life too seriously.

Now back to our topic : Nail art.
